For some reason, Amazon does not automatically assign you a vanity URL for your newly created Amazon store page.

For example, heres what my storefront URL looks like by default.

In order to receive a cleaner looking URL like, you have to contact Amazon support. Unfortunately, this is the only solution I know of right now.

Under Help->Contact Us, select Advertising and Stores.

Under Contact Reason, this is what you should write.

Our Amazon store is published and we would like to create a vanity URL for it. Please change the Amazon storefront URL to use Your Brand in the URL.

We are the brand owners and are brand registered. Thank you.

Within a week or so, youll receive a response telling you that your brand page url has been changed to your vanity url!

Installing Android Apps In Windows 11 Using Android Emulator

Since Windows 11 is still in the beta stage & lots of features are missing which will be added with the stable release. And thats most of you wont be able to use the Amazon Appstore currently on your PC. Apart from this, if you have only installed this new version of Windows OS to install android apps on PC, then you can easily go back to win 10 from win 11.

Because it is currently in the development phase and you might not get all the features right now. Also, I know that moving back to Windows 10 is a time-consuming process and in that case, you can follow this quick guide.

In this part, I will be using the Bluestacks Android Emulator for installing and running the android apps on Windows 11.

So, lets see how it works

1. First, download the Bluestacks installer from the official website.

2. Once the file is downloaded successfully, Run the installer file by double-clicking on it. After that click on Customize installation option to change the location and other parameters.

3. Now assign the BlueStacks data path on your PC local directory and then click on Install now button.

4. After that, the installer will start all the essential files and after few minutes all the files will be installed automatically.

Do Market Research And Lots Of It

Once youve picked something youre interested in, start doing some preliminary market researchthen dive a little deeper.

Lets say youve decided to go with this travel backpack idea.

First, give it a search on Amazon, eBay, and other major retailers to see the list price in various places. Is your item generally listed for more than $10, but less than $50? If so, thats good, because items that fall in that price range are more likely to be impulse buys, so youll be more likely to turn over a higher volume of stock.

You can also run a quick search on keyword tool sites, such as MerchantWords, so you can get an idea of how often people search for certain product keywords, like travel backpack. This can also help you figure out what keywords you should use in your products title.

Next, you have to check out the Best Sellers Rankings on Amazon, but dont let this list be the only determining factor in your decision. These ratings simply show whether theres currently a demand for the product youre interested in listing. If certain items are dominating a product category, this may be a clue that the category could be too competitive to break into for your first listing.

Andrew James at recommends checking out the first three to five products on the seller rankings within a given category and seeing whether these items have a high BSR or a lower BSR. Essentially, the lower the BSR number the more it sells, since this indicates its more highly ranked.

A Real Life Horror Story Selling On Amazon

Amazon Will Launch a Robot

My friend Kevin Williams was making close to 8 figures selling on Amazon with his cleaning brushes when Chinese sellers decided to copy his entire product line.

And when I say copy, they made an EXACT duplicate of his cleaning brush with inferior materials, took his EXACT packaging and sold it under his listing at half the price.

Because the Chinese sellers price was significantly lower than his, they got the buy box and stole all of his sales.

Even worse, because the Chinese knockoff was a piece of junk, angry buyers started leaving 1 star reviews which basically destroyed his entire business.

For the next year and half, Kevin would invest over a million dollars and constant headache trying to fight off these sellers because Amazon does not allow you to easily shut down the copycats.

If you want to hear his story first hand, I had the pleasure of having Kevin on my podcast which you can listen to below.

The Private Label Seller

In the past five years, there has been a huge increase in the number of sellers on Amazon that are building their own brands .

Combing Amazon product reviews and sales rank data of national brands, these sellers identify product or price gaps they believe they can fill with their own, newly-developed private label brands.

Typically, these sellers can enjoy 3-6 months of decent sales before their products do well enough to be identified by other private label sellers to target for their own private label versions.

If the private label seller becomes effective at evolving its catalog quickly and capitalizing in the short-term on its newly launched products, such a seller can do reasonably well on Amazon.

Use Video To Tell Your Story

Consider adding a video to your Amazon store to tell your brands story. This is your chance to create a feeling and capture brand loyalty, said Prodromitis. For instance, on Prodromitis Spa Destinations Amazon store, she includes a video that shares the history of the sponge industry in Tarpon Springs, Florida, and explains how her company is continuing that tradition by sourcing natural sponges from the Gulf of Mexico. The Opportunity In Marketplaces

Amazon – E Store | How to run successful business online at Amazon

Its no secret that marketplaces are a big opportunity for ecommerce brands. The top online marketplaces in the world sold $2.67 trillion in 2020, accounting for 62% of global web sales that year. The growth of marketplaces leaves retailers with one question: should you sell through online selling sites?

Marketplaces like Amazon and eBay can help people discover your brand easier. Amazon has over 150 Prime members and 300 million active customer accounts worldwide. You can set up a selling account fast and reach a global audience with easebut this all comes with a price.

Fees aside, Amazon has been under fire for steamrolling its sellers. From using data about independent sellers to developing competing products to creating blatant copycat brands, you run the risk of losing sales and customer data when selling on marketplaces.

So what does that mean you for? Look at it this way: these marketplaces give consumers a plethora of choices. They give shoppers a quick and easy way to find the products they already want. What they dont do, however, is provide an enjoyable shopping experience where products are organically discovered, like in an online store.

This gives ecommerce businesses a unique opportunity. You can use Amazon to sell certain products and help improve brand awareness, as well as create an online store where you control the experience and the data, and save money on fees.

Check On Customer Reviews

Amazon is an extremely fast-paced and active site, so in the few days that you forgot to check your page you may have lost the buy box to another seller, went out of stock, had a pricing error, or had your pictures updated to something that you didnt request.

Additionally, you may have missed out on the recent influx of negative customer reviews that complain about a product issue you werent aware of due to a recent shipment of bad product sent to Amazon. Understanding that as a seller or brand you may have hundreds or thousands of pages, it is critical that you at least check your top selling pages frequently and invest in technology that streamlines these tasks across your entire catalog.

Pay Close Attention To Your Reviews

“When it comes to reputation management, I consider myself a brand vigilante,” said Prodromitis, who not only monitors reviews and responds when necessary but also puts herself directly in the customer’s shoes with what she refers to as her “million-dollar tip.”

“The only way to succeed on Amazon is to constantly take the customer journey from start to finish,” she said. “Be your own mystery shopper. Look at your listing, the videos, the comments, the reviews. Then go ahead and buy your product and when you receive it, examine the packaging, the product, and every glorious detail and see it for yourself.”;

She said that she saw first hand that Amazon was throwing one of her gift sets in a box with little to no packaging. “As a luxury spa brand, it lacked the luster and appeal we want our customers to feel when they engage with our brand,” she said. So, they went back to the drawing board and added decorative boxes that told their story and made every purchase feel like someone was receiving a gift.;

“It was an investment, but you can never go wrong putting the customer first,” she added. “Mystery shopping is the only way to know for sure what your customer is getting.”;

When it comes to reviews, Horvath said that while they’re very important, don’t take them too personally.;

She added that Amazon also shows a “verified purchase” badge on reviews from people that purchased an item from Amazon, so you can tell if the review is legitimate.;
