Early Prime Day Tv Deals
With the Ryder Cup and FIFA World Cup on the horizon, we’d expect to see some epic OLED TV deals, too. Last year, Amazon chopped over $900 off the 2020 65-inch Sony A8H OLED. More recently, the Award-winning 48-inch LG C1 OLED TV dropped to just $897. Could it drop even lower come Prime Day? It’s certainly one to watch.
And with more of us booking holidays, plenty of shoppers will be ready to pounce on wireless headphones discounts. Amazon previously cut our favourites, the five-star Sony WH-1000XM4, from $350 to $248. The arrival of the new WH-1000XM5 could see the older XM4 drop to around $200 come July.
Prime Day 2022 could be good news for gamers, too. With PS5 and Xbox Series X stock becoming more available, we’d expect to see the first Prime Day console deals. The same goes for the Nintendo Switch, which is always a big draw on Prime Day.
Fancy $10 free credit? From now until Prime Day 2022, members can collect a virtual “stamp” for exploring four Prime activities: stream Prime Video, listen to Prime Music, borrow a Prime Reading or Kindle Unlimited book or add one to their library, and make a Prime-shipping eligible purchase. Visit the webpage for full details.
Last but not least, from 21st June through 11th July, for every $1 spent on eligible small business products, customers will be in with a chance to win prizes. Amazon says hundreds of thousands of Amazon gift cards will be up for grabs, for starters.
When Are Prime Day Early Deals
Amazon announced that it will be releasing early deals three weeks before the big two-day event is set to happen. Now through Prime Day, Prime members can look forward to discounts as much as 55% off “select Amazon devices, up to 50% off Fire TV, and more deals from top brands like De’Longhi, Dove, and SodaStream.”
Searching For Shoppers Searching For Bargains
The value of Prime Day to retailers both small and large is undisputed, as millions of shoppers visit the site in search of once-a-year deals.
Prime Day, which features deals on many products on Amazon.com, began in 2015 as a celebration of Amazons 20th year in business. It turned into a summer sales holiday designed to drum up additional business for Amazon and the retailers marketplace sellers before the holiday shopping season. In recent years, other large retailers have offered promotions on their own websites around Prime Day to take advantage of the additional online shoppers.
In 2021, consumers purchased $11.2 billion worth of goods on Amazon Prime Day. Thats up 7.7% from $10.4 billion in 2020, according to Digital Commerce 360 estimates.
That modest year-over-year growth was a notable deceleration compared with previous Prime Days. Those grew nearly six times the 2021 growth rate or even faster.
Helium 10, which provides analytics solution for ecommerce sellers, said the volume and nature of the Prime Day search activity it tracked last year was impressive:
- Search volume for Amazon sales deals increased 7173% during Prime Day compared to the week before
- Laptop was the top keyword search in 2021, followed by Apple watch, air fryer,TV and Nintendo switch
- In 2021, merchants earned $551 on average in sales the week before Prime Day compared to 2020 at $283 in sales the week before Prime Day

What Will The Best Prime Day 2021 Deals Be
If Amazon Prime Day 2021 is anything like last year, there will be too many great deals to count. Top Prime Day deals in 2020 included low prices on Amazon Echo Dots , TVs, Apple AirPods, and more. Last year, the Echo Show 5 was available for $45 with Prime , and buyer-beloved vacuums-including a Dyson for $491 -were available for hundreds of dollars off their standard prices.
What Can You Expect From Prime Day 2022
There will be thousands of deals this year — on not only Amazon’s own devices, such as the Amazon Echo, but also products across a range of categories. Last year set a record for Prime Day, and we expect Amazon will try to smash its records again.
We anticipate deep cuts on Fire TVs, Fire tablets, Kindle e-readers, and Echo devices, but you should look for Black Friday-style deals across the entire site. Additionally, expect sales on competitor TVs and even small home appliances like smart microwaves and coffee makers.
Expect some deals to last the full day, while many others will be limited-time deals that drop as quickly as every five minutes.

Working Around Independence Day
It was extremely unlikely that Amazon would choose the first Monday in July this year, which is Independence Day.
Amazon is generally wary of running anything around the Fourth of July because of consumer travel and shopping habits. They cant expect consumers to be on their computers that day, Naim said. That almost takes that card off the table. Theyre just not going to have Prime Day on July 4.
Naim predicted July 11 as the most likely day, and he gave it a 70% probability. He gave July 18 a 30% probability.
Bradley Sutton, chief ecommerce strategist at Helium 10, agreed. Helium 10 makes optimization tools for sellers on the Amazon and Walmart marketplaces.
Im predicting the middle of July, Sutton told Digital Commerce 360 in March, citing the June 20 cutoff date. It also takes two to three weeks for Amazon to check-in all the inventory once it arrives, so we can probably expect Prime Day to occur within the first couple weeks of July.
Sellers who wish to offer Prime Day deals had until April 29 to submit a proposal for consideration, Amazon said.
